Gearing up for September

Hey folks! Everything is go at GSR HQ as we start the build up to the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run on 4th & 5th September.

We've been busy over the winter finding out what our runners thought about the race in 2009, both good and bad, in order to make 2010 even better. Following that we've looked at the event and put plans in place for this September that will make your race experience even more enjoyable.

You will still have the same great racing experience as all the usual faces are back to organise and plan the event over the year. We've kept the spectacular crossing of the Kingston Bridge and the iconic start in George Square, and the routes for 2010 will keep up the recent trend of mixing a bit of a challenge with the chance to break your PB. Add to that revised plans for the start to minimise congestion and aid a fast start, plus more music on the route to keep you running and a revised finish area and we've got the makings of another superb event.

We looked long and hard at pricing for the event and have maintained our position as the best value road race event in Scotland. We hope all of this will convince you all, first timers and old timers alike to sign up again at www.runglasgow.org
